Interpersonal Development is a set of skills and competencies with one important common driver: how to influence others and others’ actions, ensuring our business objectives are met.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT is the ‘art’ of developing co-workers to deliver the requested performance, managing their activities day-to-day situationally, providing various types of feedback. It requires grooming and motivating co-workers, developing them both personally and as team players

MANAGING WITHOUT BEING IN CHARGE is the art of managing others from positions that provide you no formal authority. The head of strategic planning may need the co-operation of the marketing director, his PA needs to be firm to protect diaries and project managers often need co-operation of those they do not "run", staff roles experience this challenge continuously.

COMMERCIAL AND NEGOTIATION skills are often linked to client-supplier relationships only. Commercial negotiations go beyond basic approaches and involve the entire art to change the conditions of a deal. This toolkit is very useful in many other settings as well, including managerial and

communication settings. Why would selling an idea to a client be so different of selling it to a co-worker?

COMMUNICATE AND MANAGE SOCIAL STYLES is an essential part of interacting professionally. It covers communication from various angles: verbally and non verbally, in situations of conflict or aggression, but also in assertive environments, in hands-on meetings, in brainstorming sessions and it develops the true social style aspect of communicating with people using very different styles that naturally clash with one's own.

SELF MANAGEMENT concentrates on skills and competencies that make you more efficient and effective. As most of us do not work in isolation, what we can realise often depends on others, that we have to engage with.

ATC helps you understand how to influence other parties depending on the situation you are in. This requires some basic insights, but especially guided practice and self evaluation. At ATC we provide the environment in which you can learn these skills and see yourself progress. Either we do this in a training setting, in-the-field, or on an individual basis.
